מוזיקאית, אמנית, יזמת מוסיקה, חוקרת סאונד וסאונד הילרית.
גפן כותבת מוזיקה שמשלבת סגנונות כמו טכנו, דאון טמפו ופופ ומתיכה אותם עם מקצב מוזיקלי בועט וייחודי. ב2016 הוציאה את אלבומה המלא השלישי Blood Of My Blood (קדמו לו Bilono, The Emancipation Of Mitzy, Just Fuck Me). ב-2014 הוציאה את האופרה האלקטרונית STRIKE! עם אן שטרייכמן והילית רוזנטל. האלבום, הכולל 19 שירים וקטעים, מבוסס על המחזה ליזיסטרטה מאת אריסטופנס ומשלב מוזיקאיות ואמנים בינלאומיים (בינהם Mad Professor, ריף כהן, עמרי אנגל ועוד). ההפקה הבימתית של STRIKE! הוצגה בתל אביב ובברלין ומשלבת וידאו ואנימציה (דנה גרייס ווינדזור), עיצוב ופסל תאורה בדמות וולווה ענקית ומנצנצת (יוחאי מטוס, יואב אדמוני ולילה קלינגר), תלבושות (דריה קרסנובה) ועוד.
כיום היא עסוקה בעיקר במחקר על הקשר שבין סאונד וריפוי. במסגרתו החלה לעסוק בריפוי בסאונד, מייעצת ומשתפת פעולה עם 4DSOUND וה-Spatial Sound Institute בבודפשט ובמקביל ממשיכה לשתף פעולה עם אמניות ואמנים ממדיות שונות.
גפן עוסקת רבות במוזיקה שלה בפוליטיקה על גווניה השונים, החל בפמיניזם ושחרור האישה, שוויון וחופש מגדרי ומיני, כיבוש פלסטין, ועוד.
הוידאו קליפים ששחררה השתתפו בפסטיבלים ותחרויות ברחבי העולם, והיא חברה בקולקטיב האמניות האלקטרוניות Female:Pressure במסגרתה היא משדרת ברדיו Reboot fm בברלין, ברדיו Chimeres באתונה את Female Frequencies, ועכשיו גם ברדיו הקצה.
Rona Geffen – Music producer, composer, vocalist, sound engineer, music entrepreneur, sound researcher and sound healer. Driven by an uncompromised approach towards music & sound Geffen mastery over the production work as well as her unique voice and attitude creates a rhythmic and musical world, where everything is allowed & vibrating. Collaborator and advisor of 4DSOUND and the Spatial Sound Institute in Budapest. Self released 4 solo albums and co-composed, produced, directed & performed the electronic opera STRIKE! based on the play Lysistrata by Aristophanes (with Ann Streichman and Hilit Rozental) album and multidisciplinary live show integrating various international artists in the fields of contemporary art. Collaborated with Mad Professor, choreographer Yasmeen Godder, Ori Lichtick, APE RECORDS and many other musicians, choreographers and artists of different disciplines. Performed and toured in Europe and USA, presented videos in art and dance events and competitions worldwide. Co hosts the radio show Female Frequencies on Reboot FM (Berlin) and Chimeres radio (Athens) as part of her activity in FEMALE:PRESSURE network.
